This programmer is up to 10 times faster than the usual ISP programming interfaces: Where the regular ISP programmer may take up to 2 minutes to program your microcontroller, this one can do the same in a few seconds. This programming interface is future proof as it also programms ATMegas, AVR32 and the upcoming XMegas.
technical data · programms AVR devices with ISP interface (e.g. ATMega, AVR32, XMega ...) · programms Flash and Eeprom · programs Fuses and Lock-Bits · upgradable for following Microcontrollers · supports voltages from 1,8 up to 5,5 Volt · selectable ISP programming speed (from 50 Hz up to 8 Mhz) · gets its power from the USB Interface · Interface protection of the controller · short circuit proof This MKII programs the HEX-files of all Basic-, C-, Pascal- etc. compilers and assemblers (e.g. Gcc, WinAVR, AVR tudio, Bascom Basic, etc.) Note 1: The programming interface usually comes in a big retail packaging from Atmel which weights approx. 300 grams. To decrease the shipping costs we may open the original box and send you all parts (interface with ISP cable, USB cable, CD etc) but without the original cardboard around. If you like to get the original box too, please send a short note so we may recalculate the shipping costs for you. Note 2: This programming interface uses the newer 6-pin ISP connection. If you order one of our D06x or D07x boards, you need our adapter PCB P016 which allows the usage of a 6-pin ISP cable on 10-pin ISP boards or vice versa. Please add the addl. interface PCB to your order then (upper right corner of this page, below the price). See also picture at the bottom of this page. Note 3: If you use our (or another) 6 <-> 10 pin ISP adapter board, please do NOT use an existing 10-pin ISP cable if it is larger than 20 cm (8 inch). This programming interface is very quick and the used frequency is much too high for longer ISP cables.
