Producing such a membrane keypad is very work intensive and expensive. Here you will be able to purchase such a keypad for a reasonable price.
This keypad is not cheap – for this the initial costs are too high – but as you may recognize in the pricing table above, the pricing will come down quickly by purchasing larger quantities.

On/Off switch
The key “Shift” (also On/Off) got its own wire so it can easily be used for switching on the device from sleep mode.
Details: The embossed pads are printed from the backside so the color will never wear off. The switches are gold plated dome switches (tactile feedback) and the adhesive backside of the key pad comes from 3M.
The FPC cable itself is 90mm (3.5”) long, contacts are graphite. The cable is used by a matrix as follows:
