he solution It always was a problem to get create good looking solutions with a color TFT as there never were a propriate housing. We found nice ABS housings with a transparent top, so the complete board including display can be mounted inside. No need for sewing or milling - the display can be seen clearly through the top. The different housings are:
G001-11: inner size 115x65; 11 mm usable height in inside (4.5" x 2.5"; 0.43" height) G001-26: inner size 115x65; 26 mm usable height in inside (4.5" x 2.5"; 1" height) both upper housings are available with optional mounting pads (see picture very bottom right) G002: square size for wall mounting - nice looking 110x110 m; 13mm inner height (4.3" x 4,3"; 0.5" height)
The modules D041, D061 or D062x, D071 (not D071x), D072, D073 etc. will fit nicely into the housings with 11 mm (0.43") height. If you want to solder the pins to these boards you need the housing with 26mm height (1"). Even the modules including a development board (P005 or P006) will fit in the 26 mm housings.  If you do not want to get a complete clear front plate (like the picture at lower left), you may print a front plate to some paper or foil, cut out the display and place it on top of the housing (picture lower right) or -protected against dirt- from the inside (picture upper right). The frontplate is fixed with screws from the bottom side - so no disturbing screws are visible. The housings are each offering six mounting pads where you may fix (screw) your PCB to. The housings ara available in two heights and with or without wall mounting frames.
