We have to produce lead free to be able to offer ROHS complaint PCBs. Some PCBs are handsoldered so we need a good solder. We tried >20 different lead free solder. With almost all of them were very unhappy. Only two showed a characteristics like leaded soldering tin: easy to solder, good flow, not too much fume etc. The one solder costs 2x more than the 2nd - so we are offering here the solder which statisfied us. If you need to solder lead free and you are unhappy with your solder - try out this one: you will be satisfied! This one is halogen free - we also offer the same solder with some halogen for offering an even better soldering - especially on hard to solder materials (e.g. parts with some oxidation).
